Quoting the web-page:
"REVIVO is developed in Southern China where HIV/AIDS has become a serious epidemic, starting years ago through migrant workers to Thailand. There, in Northern Thailand, revivo has been tested first and is since then becoming popular not only because it is the least expensive of all available drugs but also because it is restoring the immune system function of the body so efficiently that in the majority of patients the CD4 counts are getting back to normal within 1 to 3 months, and a large number of viral secondary infections are taken care of at the same time.
While this is a new way of looking at the treatment of HIV, the medicine itself is but a sophisticated mixture of traditional Chinese herbs to cure immune system deficiencies. The herbal extracts are taken as a tea twice a day"

Re: HIV - AIDS new treatment from China
Sun, April 16, 2006 - 8:02 PMNot bad stuff. Has a real powerful punch to it.
They suggest that you take normal doses during the first 4 days.
This combined with 6 organic Spiralina pills a day, two B-Stress vits and a good diet has given me A LOT more energy.
Btw, this combo also clears "your system" out. ;-) In a pleasant way.

Re: HIV - AIDS new treatment from China
Tue, April 18, 2006 - 11:51 AM100% herbal.
Tried it for a while now. Test results came back yesterday with my T-cells up to 153 (from 125) and a Viral load of 68k (from 107k).
Met with the Dr. this morning and deceided to give the Western Meds a go after all. Starting tonight.
Until the new meds that kills the virus is out in 4 to 5 years this seems to be the best way to go for those with under 200 t-cells. -

Re: HIV - AIDS new treatment from China
Fri, June 2, 2006 - 10:12 PMI think I got that last post backwards. I was down from 153 to 125 T-Cells and up from 68k to 107k Viral load.
Anyways, my bad.
Good News today though...
After 6 weeks on Sustiva and Epzicom with an every-other day herbal REVIVO tea my stats are now officially:
T-cells: 284
Viral Load: Undetectable. <50 or 0 - I assume.
All bloodwork via CBC shows "excellent" stats and no problems.
The doctor even wrote "Wow" on her report.
I think the combo worked well, don't you? -

Re: HIV - AIDS new treatment from China
Tue, June 13, 2006 - 6:27 PMUnfortunatly as a Man who has been there,Herbal HIV remedies don't work alone.
The problem is Viral load, while MANY herbs strengthen the weakened Immune system in Persons with AIDS and raise T cell count,Herbs alone cannot bring down Viral load, and the Viral counts rise sharply in "holistic-only" patients and a high viral count is what makes most people weak and open to opportunistic infections. one can have a very low T-cell count and if a zero viral load is maintained, can feel pretty good.
I definatly applaud you lashtal, for your use of herbs, but as you unfortunatly have discovered as did I,"some" HIV antiretrovirals must still be taken WITH an Herbal program to reduce viral load hence your taking of Susteva and Epzicom.
The herbal approach in China is very promising, and I am awaiting a full year of clinical trials with it to see if it really is a "Miracle" medicine that we have hoped for.

Re: HIV - AIDS new treatment from China
Thu, August 24, 2006 - 12:52 PMUmm... this doesn't make any sense at all. Viruses aren't alive, so they cannot be killed.
> Until the new meds that kills the virus is out in 4 to 5 years this seems to be the best way to go for those with under 200 t-cells.
BTW when counting T-cells, one needs to look at the *functional* difference between TH1 and TH2 cells. Something that cannot be done by *quantitative* analysis by surface-protein binding ("CD4 counting")
I think it's important to note that T-cells are counted in units of per microliter. There are 5 liters of blood in an average adult maie body.
So 200 T-cells per microliter means about 1 billion T cells total. Certainly no small amount! Low T-cell counts in the bloodstream (aka peripheral blood) are a loose indicator of Th2 dominance, which means a proilferation of antibodies and a general lack of nitric oxide for fending off OIs.
But number alone gives no reliable indication of functionability. The only available test for this in the US I believe is the Lymphocyte Transformation Test, which examines how T-cells react to different organisms.
